Welcome to worship



Year of Luke



Christ be near at either hand

Christ behind, before me stand

Christ with me where’er I go

Christ around, above, below.

Christ be in my heart and mind

Christ within my soul enshrined

Christ control my wayward heart

Christ abide and ne’er depart.

Praise the Father source of all love

LUKE 5. 1 - 11

From now on you will fish for people


  • I believe in God the Father Almighty, creator of heaven and earth

  • and in Jesus Christ, his only Son our Lord

  • who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary,

  • suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died and was buried.

  • He descended into hell;

  • on the third day he rose again from the dead.

  • He ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of God,

  • the Father almighty.

  • From there he will come to judge the living and the dead.

  • I believe in the Holy Spirit,

  • the holy Catholic Church, the communion of saints,

  • the forgiveness of sins,

  • the resurrection of the body and life everlasting. Amen

We live in a country where people think Carnival is part of the circus at Christmas. It means Carne – Vale, Latin for Flesh – Farewell (tho only for 40 days)

Those who don’t celebrate Carnival won’t observe Lent

Those who don’t observe Lent won’t appreciate Easter.

Those who don’t celebrate Easter won’t renew Baptism.

Pray that my sacrifice and yours may be acceptable to God the Almighty Father
