  2. FAIR TRADE FORTNIGHT Fairtrade Fortnight runs from 23rd February until 3rd March. The Fairtrade Committee are running a number of events to promote Fairtrade including an S1 Assembly, raffles, coffee mornings etc. We are also going to put a wee quiz question in everyday over the next 2 weeks to see how much you know about Fairtrade? All Year Groups Humanities Trips 5 Free trips on Saturdays 40 places on each trip and yes you can go on more than one!  If you haven’t seen Scotland, this is your chance! 14th March       Ben Nevis and Glencoe 21st March        Loch Lomond 28th March       Kilmartin and Inveraray 25th April           Largs and Millport 2nd May              Blair Atholl and the Cairngorms Forms given out today, first come first served.   6. S5/6 TOP UP PROGRAMME ALL DAY CAMPUS VISIT - GLASGOW UNIVERSITY FRIDAY 6TH MARCH A reminder to all staff and UCAS candidates that this Friday is the Campus visit to Glasgow University. UCAS candidates should register first in their tutor groups and then report to Miss Logan outside the Assembly Hall. Allander Coaches will take those participating in the visit from school at 9.00am prompt and, after the visit, depart from the University Campus at 2.20pm. UCAS candidates who do not attend, without a valid reason, cannot receive a full Top-Up Student Profile and cannot, therefore, have their performance on Top-Up taken into account when applying to Higher Education institutions.

  7. S5/6 S5/6 Geography students spent yesterday at Balmaha and Luss on the banks of Loch Lomond.  Their trip was funded by Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National park. Career Advisor Could the following pupils please register at tutor time then make their way to the Library to collect an appointment card for today’s career appointments: Higher History Would all Higher History pupils  please ensure that they have returned permission forms and paid any outstanding money by Wednesday  4th of March 2015.
