  1. The Four Pillars of Emotional Persuasion If you’re able to appeal to these four emotions you’ll connect and influence decisions. 1. Sadness When you’re sad, you seek happiness as quickly as possible regardless of the long-term implications. 2. Anxiety you adopt a survivalist mindset You take less time to reflect on the consequences of your actions. 3. Awe- Is compared to Wonder. People who experience awe are more giving of their time and more willing to help others 4. Anger -Any amount of anger and stress gives you the feeling of control and a boost of optimism. Appealing to emotion creates a connection with each person and helps them: Understand your perspective. Accept your perspective.Perform the action you suggest.
