Current Status • CSULB freshman six year graduation rates • Improved by 17% since the late 1990’s • Show greater improvement than CSU overall • Continue to improve due to higher retention rates • Transfer graduation rates are the same as CSU • Gender differences • Women graduation rate is 10% higher than men. • Ethnic Differences compared to White Americans • African American rate is 20% lower • Hispanic American rate is 8% lower • Asian American rate is 3% lower
