Regional Managers Role • Name the Region that captures what the area is; e.g. South Central Region • Provide mission statement • Recruiting new Regional Qualifiers, visiting qualifiers, offering support • Training Contest Directors, Training Judges, certification process • Appointing Advisors the Advisor Committee from their region • Contact point for Scale Masters rules • Relay ideas and suggestions back to BOD • Promote USSMA membership • Involved with sponsorship in area, for both Regional Qualifiers and Championships contest events • Maintain a web site for the region, Q&A with links into USSMA http://www.scalemasters.org • Develop other Regional Managers in surrounding areas • Give input to the Board Of Directors for ideas and suggestions • Provide a quarterly report for the region for the USSMA newsletter • Maintain a Communication Link to AMA District VP's Concerning Scale Activities in the Region • The Board approved the concept of USSMA Regional Manager in our BOD meeting in November 2003.  • Each Regional Manager position is appointed by the President and does not require BOD approval. • If the Presidency changes--the appointments null out for new appointments by the new President.
