  1. Yearbook 101 2014- 2015 By Christina and Jenny (aka the ginger)

  2. Camera Tips • When taking a picture, hold the camera steady. • The picture may be blurry or part of your hand may be in the picture. • NEVER point the camera to the light. • Your pictures will not turn out right and you will have to retake them. • Always use medium / high resolution when taking a picture. • Take pictures at weird angles and see how they come out and experiment with taking pictures with your camera.

  3. Don’t tell anyone! • What happens in yearbook stays in yearbook. Don’t tell ANYONE any details about our yearbook! It spoils the surprise of receiving it in May, and you don’t want to be the person who spoils it for everyone!

  4. On your page… • Make sure the pictures you use aren't on other pages, you don’t want to have repeating pictures. • Line up all of your boxes and make sure that everything is equal spaced evenly. • If your background is a color, make sure the color extends all the way to the edge of the pages. • Make sure the captions make sense and go with the picture • IT HAS TO FOLLOW THE THEME!Make sure your age is relevant you don’t want to go off the theme

  5. Deadlines • Multiple times during the year, we will have to submit pages to Walsworth, each time there is a certain amount of pages that have to be submitted so make sure you work efficiently and get it done.

  6. The Cover • The cover is something that you and your fellow staffers get to choose. • Mrs. Bryant will have a list of themes to choose from and then an artist will design a cover based off of what the staff choose. You get to tell the artist what to draw/ design.

  7. All about Tray Tray! • Tray Tray is a craycraygurl. • She likes high school musical, and Hannah Montana. • Christina is her favorite. • She’s super blonde • She’s real chill but if you do dumb things she’ll call you out on it • Tall people make her uncomfortable.

  8. Online design • Online design is the program you use when making the yearbook. • There are so many things about online design but your yearbook representative Taja will inform you about EVERYTHING! • At first you’re going to have many questions about online design, but by the end of the class, I promise you’ll be a pro.
