  1. WHAT TO EXPECT AT PETS!!! Double Tree Hotel San Jose, California March 7 – 9, 2014

  2. UPON ARRIVALThursday, March 6th Assistant Governors will greet you at the hotel. After registering and receiving your room key, proceed to D5000 Hospitality Suite 954, 9th floor, and drop off your $50 worth of trinkets/food and pick up your kukui nut lei. Light dinner and refreshments will be provided. Get a good night’s rest – you have a long day tomorrow!!

  3. Friday, March 7th – A.M. Business Attire Pick up registration packet in the lobby Get in line early (7:30 a.m.) to take your President’s photo – wear your kukui nut lei with your business attire After your photo, change to D5000 shirt with kukui nut lei and meet in San Jose/Santa Clara rooms at 9:30 a.m. We will all proceed to get our group photo taken on the staircase in our District shirts. Breakfast on your own

Friday, March 7thDay Time – D5000 Shirt & Kukui Nut Lei Opening session begins – DON’T BE LATE Training sessions begin iPads are ok for taking notes Meet and greet classmates Bring business cards for networking opportunities There will be vendors – you can purchase “Rotary stuff” for your officers, etc. Check programs for D5000 meetings

  5. Friday, March 7thEvening – Dressy Aloha Attire,Coat & Tie,Dressy Dress D5000 Hospitality Suite 954 will be open before dinner. All invited for hosted drinks. Dinner is a good time to sit with other PEs and network! After dinner – go to D5000 Hospitality Suite #954. Visit other suites. Signs will be posted to their locations. All Hospitality Suites close at 11:00 p.m. Get lots of rest….tomorrow’s another long day

  6. Saturday, March 8th - DayD5000 Shirt/Kukui Nut Lei Follow conference program for your assigned meeting rooms for classes iPads ok for taking notes in classes Check your programs for D5000 meetings

  7. Saturday, March 8th - EveningCocktail/Coat/Tie or DRESSY Aloha Attire Hospitality Suite 954 open before dinner - pick up artificial leis Meet at the top of the stairs by the Banquet Room at 6:00 p.m. to distribute leis to all attendees before dinner Return to Hospitality Suite after dinner – last night to have fun and mingle!!

Sunday, March 9th - DayWear what you want with your kukui nut lei Follow conference program for your assigned meeting rooms for classes iPads ok for taking notes in classes Made some new friends? Say Aloha and if you want to, give away your kukui nut lei. Afternoon on your own (great shopping at Valley Faire and need to take a cab)

  9. Sunday, March 9th - EveningDress warm and comfortable D5000 DINNER RSVP TO AG Marietta Bustamante by Feb. 25th No Host D5000 Dinner at the CASINO across the street from hotel. Meet in lobby at 5:30 p.m. Bring a coat (cold outside!) Order what you want, pay on your own.

  10. D5000 MEETINGS WILL BE HELD DURING PETS Meetings for D5000 will be in the San Jose/Santa Clara and San Carlos rooms. Times and room/s will be listed in your program Be sure to attend ALL meetings and sessions!

  11. DON’T FORGET TO PACK THIS STUFF!! Your $50 worth of trinkets/food items D5000 Shirt Business Cards Good walking shoes, coat or jacket Dressy clothes for both dinners HAVE FUN!
