  1. Music Everywhere! By: Juna Kawai-Yue

  2. Why Music? You might say that you can go a day, two days, or even a week without music. But the truth is that you can’t. Sure, you might be able to go a day without music, but let me just say that music is inevitable. And that includes all kinds of music, from music concerts to just tapping your pencil in a rhythmic beat on a table in irritation while doing your homework. I cannot go a day without music or even maybe an hour without music. So right after Saturday Chinese school, in the car on the way to the mall in Flushing, I made a decision to try and make it through the day without any forms of music. Well. My decision was broken. When we went to the mall, Chinese music blasted in my ear. A TV was playing the Gangnam Style music video On the way home, the car was playing music from the radio. When we got back home, I had to do my homework. I hummed and tapped the table in a rhythm in irritation while I wrote. Then my mom told me to practice piano. My fingers flew across the keys as they played different notes. After that, I started reading a book while music played through the speakers we have. I quickly got bored, and my dad and little brother wanted to watch the basketball game. It kept playing those little annoying tunes. I played games on my iPhone and the background music kept repeating. Well, I thought. That decision was impossible.

  3. Instruments and Singing to Daily Music • Many people create music from making popular music albums to musical concerts. In a survey, 15 out of 25 5th graders create music on a daily basis. Ever tapped your pencil while you tried to figure out a math problem? There you go. You created a simple form of music. Other people play instruments every day to practice their skills. Some people sing along with songs they know while listening to them, and even operas or musicals on Broadway create music. Just humming an easy tune provides music.

  4. Daily subject of Music In school, you have a music subject, right? So if you have ever done those every day, you can’t go without music for a day.

  5. Popular Music in Daily Life • Also, many people listen to music without really knowing on a daily basis. Music has become a normal background in our lives. 23 out of 25 5th graders surveyed said they listen to music every day. Roughly 85% of the world’s population listens to the radio each day. According to www.ask.com, the average of songs people listen to in a year ranges from 30,000 to 34,917 songs, and also listens to 2,920 hours of music per year. People usually plug earphones into music devices for jogging or other purposes. In Central Park, have you ever heard people playing or singing or dancing to music publicly? Or you must have been to a restaurant or mall, where they play music through loudspeakers.

  6. In conclusion, music is a part of daily life. If you haven’t known how daily music is, now you know. Don’t forget how important music is every day!
