  4. Need for Pediatric ARV Program in Vietnam •  2,000 pediatric cases identified • Lack of available technical assistance • Lack of local capacity • Procurement issues •  A goal to treat 1,000 children by Dec 2007

  7. Results – Site Expansion • There are 18 pediatric clinics in 6 PEPFAR provinces by Dec 2007 • There are also 10 pediatric clinics at 10 non focused provinces.

  11. Implementation Insights • Improving coordination among different organizations was the biggest solution • Better to have a formal written plan and agreement, with roles and responsibilities Thank You!
