All about Alfred Nobel! • He was born in 1833 in Sweden. • He was the inventor of the dynamite. • Alfred's family worked in a factory producing gun powder and explosives. • The factory opened in 1883 and there was a serious amount of explosions, where many people died and one of them was Alfred's brother. • In 1886 Alfred discovered a combination of nitro-glycerine diatomaceous, called kieselguhr, in a safer manner then previously used explosives.

  3. All about the dynamite In the 19th century, the Victorian era, the dynamite helped develop growth when discovered. Nearly half a million Swedish people moved to United States to extreme poverty and poor economic conditions. The dynamite helped the Victorians because instead of digging in mines they can blow them up!
