Introduction • This project was undertaken to provide a resource for health care providers to use to train colleagues and others about oral cancer. • It is meant to be used by and adapted for all types of health care providers. • The importance of spreading knowledge about oral cancer to health care providers and the public cannot be underestimated.

  4. Topics include: • Epidemiology • Risk factors and prevention • Clinical manifestations of oral cancer • Screening and diagnostic aids • Oral cancer examination procedure • Staging and grading system, and • Treatment options • Advanced diagnostics
