Group A Preliminary (June 20) • 8:00-8:50: team meeting • 8:50-10:00: team A1-1, A2-1 • 10:00-11:00: opening ceremony • 11:00-12:10: team A3-1, A4-1 • 12:10-13:00: solve troubles & lunch & demo • 13:00-15:10: team A1-2, …, A4-2 • 15:10-15:30: break & demonstration • 15:30-17:40: team A1-3, …, A4-3 (A1: team name, -1: game no.)

  5. Group B Preliminary (June 21) • 8:00-9:00: team meeting • 9:00-11:40: team B1-1, B2-1, …, B5-1 • 11:40-12:30: solve troubles & lunch & demo • 12:30-15:10: team B1-2, …, B5-2 • 15:10-15:30: break & demo • 16:30-18:10: team B1-3, …, B5-3 • 19:00-: Banquet

  6. Final 1 (June 22) • 9:00-10:00: team meeting • 10:00-13:00: team F1-1, …, F4-1 • 13:00-14:00: lunch & demo • 14:00-17:00: team F1-2, …, F4-2 • 17:00-18:00: team meeting

  7. Final 2 (June 23) • 10:00-13:00: team F1-3, …, F4-3 • 13:00-: demonstration • 17:00-: pack victims and ship to Kobe.

  8. Judges • 20 (Group A): Adam, Satoshi, Bryan, Kenichi, Saeed • 21 (Group B): Group A Competitors (2 people from each team) • 22 (Final 1): Group A+B Competitors except for Finalists (1 people from each team) • 23 (Final 2): Adam, Satoshi, Brian, Kenichi, Group B Competitors except for Finalists (1 from each)

  9. Rule (1) • Sum of 2 best scores out of 3 runs • Draw a map and indicate victims’ position • Operator calls ‘FIND’ each time • Judges check the validity at the operator desk AND at the robot each time. • SECRET • Competitors cannot see nor enter the competition zone. • Operator must wear a headphone. • Evident intentional violation results in deprivation of league.

  11. Rule (3) • GRID RULE • Operator calls the position by grid cube.In which cube the found victim exists. • StatedPositionalVolume: 0.9x0.9x0.9m (FIXED) • Cube coordinate is measured from features Feature This is OK!! Real Situation Map Drawn

  12. Rule (4) • Victim is large and included in multiple grids--> Any grid can be called. • Adjacent grid is called.--> IsVictimInVolume = 0.5 (half point) Cannot propagate beyond wall

  13. Rule (5) • Operator can call ‘RESET’ • Reset robot returns to starting zone by judge. Time continues to run. • Penalty: add one operator in score. • Self-Reset • Robot can return starting zone by itself for operator’s repair. • Penalty: none • Therefore, operator can continue setup after preparation time.
