  1. How To generate a • Development and Learning Report DLR to share with parents at your Parent Teacher Conference

  2. Select the reports tab • Then select the Development and Learning report.

  3. Select the correct period (note—you must finalize the check point before you can run a Development and Learning report.) • Then select class • All Children • Then Areas of Development and Learning. • HS will only require you to select the areas of Social-Emotional and Literacy for the Fall Period. • Select only Finalized Checkpoint Levels • Select Recommended activities. You can now Generate the Report!

  4. The generated report will appear like this.. As you scroll down the page you will note that there is a report for each child in the classroom. The report is written in a strengths based manner stating what the child can do. In the right hand column of the report are recommended activities. These will be gone over shortly. Then there is a brief summary of what is “Next” for the child. Select Print and the report for each child will be generate to be printed

  5. Recommended Activity– If you select any of the recommended activities it will give you an activity based on the child’s development and age that will support the child to grow. Once selected you can choose to print and share with the families. The Print view is below. Although HS is not requiring you to provide Recommended Activities it would be appropriate to select 1 from Social-Emotion and 1 from Literacy to share during your conferences.

  6. You will select to print the Development and Learning Report -it will generate the report for each of you children. You can also print in Spanish.

  7. Here is a sample of how the report will appear when it is printed.

  8. If you are under the wrong period or have not finalized the levels the report will generate but look like this. Make sure all children are finalized and you are selecting the correct period.
