OBJECTIVES • Develop the learner´s communicative competence in four areas: • Linguistic • Sociolinguistic • Discourse • Strategic competence • In other words the learner should be able to understand and use everyday expressions and very basic phrases aimed at the satisfaction of needs of a concrete type. • Be able to introduce themselves and others and to ask and answer questions about personal details such as: where they live, people they know and things they have, interact in a very simple way provided the other person in the interactions talks slowly and clearly and is willing to help.

El articulo indefinido ase emplea antes de palabras que empiezan con sonido de consonante: a boy, a girl, a policeman El articulo indefinido an se emplea antes de palabras que empiezan con sonido de vocal: an elephant, an english student, an accountant COGNATES Son aquellas palabras en ingles que permiten una fácil identificación con su significado en español, más sin embargo habrá que tener cuidado con otras que se denominan falsos cognados.
