Course Objectives • To understand the concept of Lewis structure of molecules • To understand the interaction between ions in ionic bonds • To grow the idea of band theory for metallic bonds • To understand the concept of hybridisation • To create concept of interaction of atomic orbitals • To know the theories of covalent bonding: MOT and VBT • To know the effect of Weak Chemical Forces on physical • properties of molecules • To know the non conventional weak chemical forces
