RFID networks and ETSI Members • ETSI Board RFID Ad Hoc mailing list is quiet • RFID networks standardization identified by EC and ETSI related stakeholders could form a starter group later when their common plans will be agreed • More contributions and contacts are needed to request for the creation of a RFID networks starter group. This was already the case when GRID activity started, time was needed to network with the right RFID experts working for ETSI Members on the new ICT subject • ERM TG34 and TG28 confirmed their focus on intensive RFID Radio related Standardization conducted in ETSI TC ERM in liaison with ad hoc external bodies ETSI/B61(07)19

RFID Actions and contacts on going Who discussed RFID standardization collaboration with ETSI Board RFID Ad Hoc group members? • OFCOM UK (Supply Chain UHF RFID and regulation in UK) • ERCIM (INRIA, Fraunhofer.. 18 EU Public Research organizations) • JRC/ISPRA Italy and IPSCPASR 2006 (part of EU FP7) STABORSEC Project (Sagem, France Telecom.. 1st Feb 2007 EC funded project launch) • EU DG INFSO D4 and project possible candidates (during 6 and 26 February FP7 Call-1 Infodays) • Lyngsoe (ETSI Member of ERM TG34) • EPC Global/GS1 about global cooperation • LPRA and GS1 Members do now conform to ETSI Membership rules (Feig, Impinj, Reva, ThingMagic, Dudde…are applicant Members to next GA) ETSI/B61(07)19

RFID actions and contacts planned Planned: • EU RFID Forum 13-14 March 2007 with EC • EP eHealth cooperation • ITU-T JCA-NID www.itu.int/ITU-T/jca/nid future liaison • RFID discussion topic follow-up at GSC-12 in Kobe 8-13 July • 2007 ICT standardization work program volunteers ? • EU DG INFSO D4 and FP7 Call-1 project candidates (and ETSI Members) ETSI/B61(07)19
