CURACAO OCTOBER 2007 L-R: Gabriel “Boy” Magdalena, President of ADECK, the Island Economic Development Organization, presents publications and proclamations celebrating the week to Larry Strain, Mr. Elvis TjinAsjoe, Minister of Economic Affairs and Labor for the Antilles Government, and Eugene Rhuggenaath, Commissioner of the Economy. Each are asked to make comments.

The man to his immediate right represented the Governor. The woman to his far left is the Rector of the University and is sitting next to the Minister of Economic Affairs.

  9. CURACAO OCTOBER 2007 The people up front are students in small business development—the third graduating class. Strain helped start the program in 2001 and developed the curriculum currently being used.
