  2. Case • It protects and holds all the components inside. Its like a skeleton. • Everything is attaches to it. • It is the surrounding outside.

  3. MOBO • It is like a spine, it is the link between all the different components inside the computer. • it connects to all the electronic components. • It is on the none removal side in the middle , under everything.

  4. PSU • The power supply gives power to the motherboard. • Its attached to the case and a cord attaches to the motherboard • Its normally located in a corner of the computer

  5. CPU • It is the brains of the computer, it processes everything. • It is connected to the motherboard. • It is located in the middle of the MOBO

  6. GPU • The Graphic processing unit, lets you see anything that’s on the screen from a simple image to a high definitions graphics. • It is attached to the motherboard. • Its located on the motherboard, under the CPU.

  7. HDD • The hard disk drive is a data storage device. • It is attached to the motherboard and power supply • It is located under the DVD drive.

  8. SSD • The solid-state drive is like a USB but for memory cards instead. • It is attached to the PSU SATA cable and the motherboard. • It is located in the drive bay,

  9. USB • Universal serial bus is the connection of computer peripherals. • It attaches to the keyboard, mouse, digital cameras, printers, monitor and more. • Its located at the back of the computer.

  10. HEAT SINKS • The heat sink cools down hot components like the CPU. • It attaches to the motherboard and CPU. • Its located under the fan and in the middle.

  11. OPTICAL DRIVE • It reads data to or from your optical discs. • It is attached to the SATA cable and the motherboard. • It it located below the SSD.

  12. EXPANSION SLOTS • An opening in a computer where a circuit board can be inserted. • It is attached to the motherboard and located there too.

  13. MONITOR • It lets you see images, it’s the computer screen. • It is attached to the computer. • Its located on the table in front of you.

  14. KEYBOARD • It lets you type things into your computer which will appear on you monitor. • It is attached to the computer. • It is located in front of the monitor.

  15. MOUSE • It moves the arrow displayed on your monitor around so you can click on things. • It is attached to the computer. • It is located in front of the monitor, beside the keyboard.

  16. SATA Cable • The Serial ATA connects you hard drive to your motherboard. • Attached to the hard drive and motherboard • It is located by the hard drive and motherboard.
