  2. What is a URL • What is an IP address • An IP address is a unique identifier just like a phone number every PC laptop or device which connects to a network has a protocol address • such as 192.146.49.26 This address is assigned by the router

  3. What is a URL • Universal Resource Locator • This is the address you link to such as www.facebook.com it is unique to each address on the internet and is registered and payedfor by the person who owns the internet site.
