  12. Identifying inferences Read the following passages and use the clues to answer the questions 1. Shanay had never seen so many fish before. She looked around at the huge tanks and could see hundreds of fish, crabs, shrimp and all other amazing creatures completely surrounding her. She never thought she could feel like she was completely underwater, yet completely dry. Where is Shanay? Shanay is at the aquarium!

  13. Identifying inferences 2. I just can’t figure them out. Sometimes I get so frustrated. Like when I ask the file to save and I come back an hour later and it has erased my paper! Those are the things that just irritate me. I also can’t stand all these goofy names, ‘mouse’, ‘web surfing’, who ever made up such nonsense! What is frustrating this man? Computers frustrate this man!

  14. Identifying inferences 3. Mother told me I needed to stop, but I couldn’t stop now, not when I was so close to winning! My eyes were fixated on the television and the controller was in my hand. I didn’t even see my mother when she walked into the room. What was the boy doing in front of the TV? The boy was playing videogames
