  2. AWS Modifications Change was instituted based on the hardship to maintain the original configuration in the field Connectors were too close to work in the cold Breakage of plastic fittings was too frequent System was installed in a NEMA enclosure with standard military easy release connectors

  3. AWS Modifications Change was instituted based on the hardship to maintain the original configuration in the field Areas of high snow accumulation were placed on a tram to rise the sensors as snow builds at the base Remaining systems will be installed on Rohn Towers

  4. AWS Modifications Components can now be easily changed out in the field. Modification provided an opportunity to place the battery inside for heating

  5. AWS Modifications Heaters continued to fail on the ceilometers promoting an insulation requirement. Our crack designer provided us this solution

  6. MET Kits After a lengthy period to identify and procure the New MET Kits has finally been resolved and the system developed by Coastal Environmental systems. • System is equipped with • Iridium communications • LED display • External display connection (PDA or Laptop) Basic System wt=40lbs Basic System Wind Temp RH / Dew Pt Pressure / Altimeter Setting Four Optional Ports Ceilometer Visibility Other science applications Rugged PDA’s will be available for major camps with a windows program interface
