Comments • Allowed by EU Law in the context of Family reunification (article 7.2) • NL was precursor and been followed by GER, FR and DK • Schemes proposed are very diverse • From very hard requirements (NL) to mere evaluation of language capacities (FR) • Special mention to DK "integration inside the host Member State" (DK) • Legally highly questionable  see first session of the afternoon
