What do these lines mean? • Some people make your thoughts dull and boring. • Some people make you think about shiny things. • Some people make you think many exciting thoughts. • Some people make your thoughts sad and fearful. What is the theme of both poems? • People talk too much. • People are funny all the time. • People can make us feel like crying by ourselves. • People have different effects on our feelings and moods.
