  2. Background Info • I was born in San Jose, CA • I moved to Texas in 3rd grade • I graduated from Llano High School • I attended Modesto Jr College in CA • I received my degree from Angelo State University (San Angelo, TX)

  3. More Background…. I have been a science teacher and coach for 26 years, at the high school and middle school levels. My favorite sports to coach are track and cross country. I was a runner for many years until I developed arthritis and even pole vaulted in my 40’s until I had a knee replacement. I qualified for the Boston Marathon in 2004.

  4. Family • I was adopted at birth • I have one brother, Tom • My dad is well, but my mom is no longer living • I have 3 children: Scott (22), Sterlin (18), Heather (18)
