He was also born in the Diktaion cave along with his brothers Poseidon and Zeus. Hades parents were Cronus and Rhea. His attributes were helmets, metals, jewels, and the bird tipped sceptre.

He too was born in the Diktaion Cave, son to Cronus and Rhea. He was brother to Hades and Zeus also. His sphere of influence was that he was the god of the sea. His attributes were his famous trident, his horses and bull.

  9. Poseidon I chose this picture of Poseidon because it shows him in his godly actions and he is carrying his trademark trident. This image portrays strength, ruling, and discipline. This image spoke to me because it shows him punishing humans surrounded by the vast roaring sea. He looks so powerful and stern. He must have been angry for some purpose, because this picture is very intense.

  10. Poseidon I chose this picture of Posiedon because it shows him in a regal chariot with horses(which he also ruled). This image portrays dictatorship, royalty, and obedience. This image spoke to me because the horses seem to be in some type of trance. One that forces them to obey their ruler, Posiedon. Poseidon obviously took advantage of his powers, and you can see that in this photo.

She sits upon her throne, ruling as a goddess queen. This picture is very realistic and I like how it shows her as beautiful and powerful.

  14. Hestia Hestia was the virgin goddess of the hearth and the home. Her Roman name was Vesta. She was the daughter of Cronus and Rhea. Her sphere of influence was being the goddess of the hearth and home. Her attributes were her eternal virginity and a kettle. She controlled things such as family meals and cooking. She was the purest of the gods.

Also, I like the pose that she is doing because it makes her look beautiful and innocent. This picture portrays innocence, purity, and beauty. It spoke to me because of her pose and her beauty.

  16. Hestia I chose this picture because it is Hestia in a very regal form and she is sitting upon a throne. This picture portrays the qualities of royalty and elegance. This picture spoke to me because it was different and she is holding flowers instead of her common kettle. I like it a lot because it is uncommon and Hestia looks beautiful in a different way.
