  1. Wasting A Physics Lesson. #snowjoke By Con Con Carne

  2. Snow is a type of frozen precipitation that comes from clouds. If it melts and refreezes on its way down it form hail. It normally lives in Scotland… with the penguins… and Mr Thomson…

  3. Snow fall is measured in depth, like rain, and anymore then 1 nm of snow will cause the UK to grind to a halt, and Scandinavia to suddenly start working.

  4. Once on the ground snow is categorized as powdery, fluffy, granular, and then eventually ice, depending on how much it has melted and or refreezed or being cleared up by cats..

  5. Along with snow aliens, snow is know to have occurred on mars at high altitudes, and hydrocarbon snow is theorized on titan, the largest moon of saturn.

  6. Snow can cause havoc with transport systems in unprepared naïve countries like the UK. This is because of its ice structure it has a low coefficient of friction, making it very slippery.

  7. Tiny cloud droplets don’t freeze until -18’C because a few of them need to get together to from a nucleus foe the ice to form round. This is called homogenous nucleation, and only occurs at very low temperatures of -35’C

  8. The more common type if snow is formed in warmer clouds, where a small dust particle acts as the nucleus, called the cloud condensation nucleus, which is also how normal rain is most commonly formed. This is (probably) called heterogeneous nucleation.
