The Problem • Historically Staff in PCEU responsible for full clinic preparation including locating HWPH records • Poor location rates temp files in clinic user dissatisfaction • Process reviewed September 2008 • Joint problem solving between RBBH and HWPH • Investment of resource by HWPH to provide search facility • Improved processes within PCEU for clinic preparation • Commenced 27 October 2008

  4. The Future • Electronic records for Ophthalmology patients rolling out • The requests for HWPH records will continue to decrease • Performance meanwhile will continue at current high standard • Service improved - user satisfaction high
