The COCH NHS Foundation Trust National Three Peaks Challenge The National Three Peaks Challenge is a 24 hour Mountain Challenge where teams will attempt to climb, and travel between, the highest peaks of: Scotland - Ben Nevis - 1344 m (4410 ft) England - Scafell Pike - 978 m (3210 ft) Wales - Snowdon - 1085 m (3560 ft) within a continuous 24 hour period U K O U T D O O R A D V E N T U R E L T D

The COCH NHS Foundation Trust National Three Peaks Challenge • Pick up at COCH • Drive up to Scotland – 6 ½ hrs • Stay in accommodation in Kinlochleven • Start at Fort William, Highland • Climb Ben Nevis - 1344 metres – 5 hrs • Drive 250 miles to Cumbria - 6 hrs • Climb Scafell Pike - 978 metres – 4 hrs • Drive 200 miles to Snowdonia – 5 hrs • Climb Snowdon - 1085 metres – 4 hrs • Finish in Llanberis • Return to COCH • IN UNDER 24 Hrs U K O U T D O O R A D V E N T U R E L T D

The COCH NHS Foundation Trust National Three Peaks Challenge • You may face a variety of testing weather conditions and visibility • You will face several hours of darkness while walking on a mountain at some point • You will suffer from lack of sleep and several hours in the mini-bus during the challenge • You will walk 27 miles, climb 10,000 feet, and travel 450 miles • You will look back on your achievement with a great amount of pride and satisfaction U K O U T D O O R A D V E N T U R E L T D

The COCH NHS Foundation Trust National Three Peaks Challenge • UK Outdoor Adventure Provide: £295 minimum sponsorship to enter… • Full Event Organisation • Transport by mini bus throughout whole event (PUP + DOP @ COCH) • Fuel and toll charges • 1 night’s bunk house accommodation in Scotland • Qualified, Current, Competent & insured Mountain Leaders (ML’s) • Complete first aid cover by qualified mountain first aid personnel. • Licensed VHF Handheld Radio Communications • Pre-event Safety Team Briefing • All Emergency Safety Equipment • Food and fluid throughout challenge • CD of images from the Challenge • Advice PDF’s – kit and equipment – Training etc UK Outdoor Adventure DO NOT Provide: Food  and drink outside of the challenge timings (start time – Finish time) Transport to COCH prior to and onward travel Post challenge U K O U T D O O R A D V E N T U R E L T D
