Investment into Student Centre & Studio • 1019 students visited ASC. • Societies & Clubs dedicated Support • 570 visits per month during term time. • Spurred a range of new initiatives. • RP Training • First Aid Training for society committee members • More detailed metrics on space requirements • Enhanced our understanding on student activities

Highlights of Year 1 • Fully implemented 2 new roles to support union officers • Policy & Market Research Co-ordinator • Representation Co-ordinator • On course to budget for and hire JCR Development Co-ordinator • Progress on Space Requirements in Student centre. • Full governance review in-line with Charity Registration this year. • Developed collaborative culture with GSA and integration of ISA into YUSU.

  8. Highlights from 2009-10 • Academic Representation grew stronger • 438 nominations for supervisor of the year • 49 Course reps trained • 94 case for academic representation • 85% of Academic appeals were successful • Faculty Reps on our Council

Highlights from 2009-10 • First Resources & Participation Review • Sports • 3100 sports members across 60 clubs • 13 sports now competitive at collegiate level including HYMS & College of Law • Stronger Tournaments • Societies, Volunteering & Rag • £22,577 raised by RAG. • Minds in Motion received the Guardian Public Service Award. • Second YUSU Fair

  10. Highlights from 2009-10 • The Courtyard achieved Best Bar None Bronze Certification. • Increased involvement from Student Societies • Entertainments Review. • Strong events performance.
