  8. Program 1: Vehicle Repair • Clients vehicle is inspected at WATEA Wheels to Work participating facility. • Client’s vehicle is repaired at WATEA Wheels to Work participating facilities utilizing a discounted labor rate. • Parts are purchased at a discounted rate.

  9. Vehicle Repair continued. . . OR • Client’s vehicle will be serviced at participating school facilities as a learning experience. • Mentoring occurs between school and partnering agencies. • Vehicle will be re-inspected and certified by originating service facility.

Program 2: Vehicle Donation • Vehicles donated to the program are inspected and/or repaired at participating facilities. • Vehicle repair costs are kept low using discounted labor and parts. • Donor receives tax credit for fair market value. • Road ready vehicle re-donated to client for program costs.

Program 3: Vehicle Loan • Tier 1: Program Funded Loan • Financed with program income • Interest free • Administration fee • Payments not processed through credit bureau. • Lien on vehicle through WATEA Wheels to Work • Available 1 time only per participant. • Tier 2: Guaranteed Loan • Loan financed through participating lender. • Secured to financial institutions using program dollars. • Market interest rate. • Administration fee waived. • Loan activity recorded with credit bureau. • Participant eligible more than one time.

  12. Loan Features For Both Tiers • Maximum vehicle loan of $4,000. • Maximum loan payment 30 months. • Full Coverage insurance required. • Vehicle purchase from participating WI licensed dealership.
