Daniel Koos Hawkins Provisional Member College: Baylor University Seminary: Perkins School of Theology Home Church: Waco Cogdell Presently Serving: FUMC Keller Spouse: April Children: Abigail As a very firm believer that we encounter Christ when we reach out beyond the walls of the church and serve our neighbors in need, Daniel seeks to lead outreach ministries that provide the opportunity to be engaged in hands on mission in his community and abroad. In his free time, Daniel enjoys spending time with his lovely wife – April – and their beautiful daughter Abigail. Daniel is also an avid sports fan, and enjoys participating in the church softball and basketball ministries.

He has been serving as Newcastle and Jean churches since June 2011.

Joy Elizabeth Roberson Provisional Member College: Grand Valley State University Seminary: Perkins School of Theology Home Church: Westwood UMC (Kalamazoo, MI) Presently Serving: White’s Chapel UMC Spouse: Kyle Children: Cordner, Shepherd Joy has worked in ministry with young adults for more than 10 years, including serving at the SMU Wesley Foundation, the College & Young Adult Ministry at Highland Park UMC, as Director of Young Adult Ministries on the Central Texas Conference Staff and currently at White's Chapel as Pastor for College & Young Adult Ministries.

Michael James Rodden Provisional Member College: University of Missouri Seminary: Brite Divinity School Home Church: Wesley UMC (Springfield MO) Presently Serving: St. Barnabas, Arlington Spouse: Lisa Mike served as director of Youth Ministries at First UMC Crowley while in seminary. He is a Springfield, Missouri native with a degree in Secondary English from Mizzou. Mike and his wife Lisa enjoy going fishing and the movies.

Gregory Paul Shapley Deacon in Full Connection College: Arizona State; University of Cincinnati Seminary: Perkins School of Theology Home Church: FUMC Hurst Presently Serving: FUMC Hurst Spouse: Sessalie Children: Savannah, Abby, Ben Sponsors: Dub Shepherd, Philip Rhodes Greg is an avid runner, fisherman, and skier, and taught skiing (briefly) at Breckenridge Ski School. Greg is a member of Texas Music Educators Association (TMEA), Texas Choral Directors Association (TCDA), and American Choral Directors Association (ACDA). He currently serves as Vice President of the Church Division of Texas Choral Directors Association.

Amy Aline Tate-Almy Deacon in Full Connection College: Texas Wesleyan University Seminary: Brite Divinity School Home Church: Richland Hills UMC Presently Serving: Money Matters Ministry Spouse: Mike Children: Lucas Sponsors: Philip Rhodes, Jeannie Trevino-Teddlie Passionate about social justice issues, Amy frequently speaks to United Methodist groups concerning predatory lending and the detrimental effects it has on families financially, spiritually & emotionally. She teaches the federally required personal financial management course for the two Fort Worth bankruptcy trustees. Amy patterns her classes after John Wesley’s “Way of Salvation” to promote a feeling of growth in grace for those starting over financially.

Tae Sun Beckling Elder in Full Connection College: McMurry University Seminary:Perkins School of Theology Home Church:FUMC Early Presently Serving: May/Rising Star Spouse:John Children:John III, Timothy, Paul Sponsors:Kent Kilbourne,John Clifford Having a minor degree in art, Rev. Beckling enjoys doing pottery and, in particular, sculptures. It gives her “a great deal of enjoyment to take a lump of clay and create animals or flowers.” Her favorite activity is to sculpt flowers, especially roses. She enjoyed making roses so much that she has worked with silver and made a necklace of roses, icing roses for cakes, even paper roses for table decorations etc. She also enjoys bowling.

Holly Clarinda Dittrich Elder in Full Connection College: Southwestern University Seminary: Candler School of Theology Home Church: FUMC Stephenville Presently Serving: Chaplain, Cook Children’s Medical Center Spouse: Rob Sponsors: Mike McKee, Mary Spradlin Holly grew up in the Central Texas Conference, active in conference related ministries throughout high school and college. She has a passion for working with young people, recognizing they are complete spiritual beings, and helping them to discover and experience God's infinite grace. She and her husband, Rob, love to spend time outdoors, gardening, hiking and camping, and playing with our furry child (cat) named Toby. Holly is an avid reader, enjoys knitting and singing.

Kyland Cason Dobbins Elder in Full Connection College: Prairie View A&M University Seminary: Perkins School of Theology Home Church: McMillan Presently Serving: Center for Mission Support Spouse: Natashia Children: Ananda, Namie Sponsors: Luther Henry, Jim Chandler Prior to entering the ministry, Kyland gained experience in various areas such as science (microbiology), education, counseling and entrepreneurship. Kyland loves people. In fact he believes that people are the best resource for life, while God is the Source of life. Kyland is happily married to Dr. Natashia Jones-Dobbins of Killeen, TX. Kyland and Natashia are the proud parents of two daughters (with No. 3 on the way).

Michael Harry Love Elder in Full Connection College: Purdue University Seminary: Brite Divinity School Home Church: Alliance Presently Serving: FUMC Watauga Spouse: Susan Children: Katie Pawelek, Michael Sponsors: Ben Disney, Jerry Galloway In his vocation prior to ministry, Mike practiced Aerospace Engineering, beginning his career with General Dynamics Fort Worth Division in January 1979. He began answering the call to ministry in 1999. On March 31, 2010, Mike left what is now Lockheed Martin Aeronautics. So, April Fools day was his first day of a full time appointment in ministry. According to Mike, “God has a wonderful sense of humor and yet even more incredible sense of timing.”

William Stephen Moss, IV Elder in Full Connection College: Northwood University Seminary: Perkins School of Theology Home Church: FUMC Midlothian Presently Serving: Good News, Cedar Park Spouse: Cynthia Children: Krystine Sponsors: Carl Freeto, Mike Alexander Steve’s Texas roots date back to Texas’ formation in 1836. In fact, his great, great, great, great, great grandfather, Col. Stephen William Blount, was one of the signers of the Texas Declaration of Independence.Before hearing his call to ministry, Steve spent 15 years working in the commercial printing industry. Aside from serving God, he also enjoys reading mystery novels, jogging and spending time outdoors.

Martin Presently Serving: Annetta UMC Spouse: Mary K (Mimi) Children: David, Michael Sponsors: Michael Young, Virginia Bassford Robert learned at an early age that he can take anything apart, put most back together and build or repair most items. He says that he will never master English, Spanish, golf and spelling. He was the oldest person in his seminary class, “It takes some of us longer to understand what God has called us to do.”Robert says his wife Mimi also earned a Masters of Divinity degree while he was in seminary, “She just wasn’t given credit.”

Kevin Robert Wilson Elder in Full Connection College: The Ohio State University Seminary: Brite Divinity School Home Church: Epworth UMC Presently Serving: Waxahachie First Spouse: Cheryl Sponsors: David Mosser, Jerry Galloway Kevin has served the last ten years as the associate pastor at First UMC Waxahachie where he is known as Pastor Kevin or "Kev da Rev." In addition to his ministry, he is passionate about THE Ohio State University Buckeyes, the Dallas Cowboys, Texas Rangers and M&M's.
