  4. So… What was it like? • Eton - A short history lesson • Founded 1440 • 19 out of 40 UK Prime Ministers (so far). • Charitable foundation

  5. Did I know anybody (in)famous? • 2 princes, 1 duke and 2 lords • 3 sons of cabinet ministers • 1 now-genuine TV star • 3 now-MPs • 1 son of a business tycoon who had to flee the country

  6. And I didn’t know… • William and Harry Wales • David Cameron, UK Conservative Party leader • Hugh Laurie, “House”

  7. So… What was it like? (cont’d) • Probably the best school in the world. • Quality, quality, quality. • “Do whatever you want to do in life….but do it to the best of your ability”. • Minor caveat – BUBBLE.
