  4. benefits • Lockers are convenient for full time students and incoming freshman. • Freshmen are accustomed to having lockers; it would be a smoother transition. • Lockers help students avoiding health issues that arise from carrying heavy backpacks. • They provide a safe place to store expensive items such as laptops and iPads. • Renting lockers would produce extra funds for the college.

  5. Estimated Cost • For a set of 6 lockers, it costs $320.00 to install. • SLCC’s estimated order of 10 sets of lockers • The cost of labor for 30 workers would be $1,500.00

  6. Estimated profit • Estimated daily profit-- $30.00 • renting lockers at $0.50/locker for an average of 60 lockers a day • Estimated monthly profit-- $600.00 • $30.00/week for 20 days out of the month • Estimated yearly profit-- $7,200.00 • $600/month for 12 months

  7. Estimated maintenance • Daily maintenance-- $40.00 • for one worker to work one day a week for four hours at $10/hour • Monthly maintenance-- $160.00 • one worker working once a week for four weeks • Yearly maintenance-- $1,920.00 • $160/month for 12 months
