  12. SEARCH IN SPOTLIGHT Find “missing” apps, contacts, etc. In Settings YOU select what The SPOTLIGHT searches!

  13. REARRANGE & ORGANIZE APPS Touch and hold on any APP until it “wiggles.” Now you can move it. To create a folder move it to another APP.

  14. MULTITASKING SHELF “Switch-a-roo” Scroll between all currently running apps and get EXTRA CONTROLS ! Either double-click on HOME button or swipe 4-fingers up on screen.

  15. GET MORE APPS So many APPS, so LITTLE TIME! “Get thee to an Appery!” Free and $Apps (+ sign near price of app – Universal)

  16. SAFARI TIPS Status Bar Click on Status Bar in most programs to go to top of page. Tap on column or picture on web page & zoom in. Another tap and the page will return to original size. Tap arrow on top menubar for many options.

  17. Camera tip – focus & zoom Pinch screen to get zoom bar. Tap where you want to focus – blue box appears (Remember –zooming on an iPad lowers image quality dramatically)

  18. Camera tip-IF Camera Button is hard to reach Lock screen rotation in the opposite orientation of the composition of your photo. Taking landscape – lock in portrait / Taking portrait – lock in landscape

  19. Take Screen Shots Press both buttons at the same time Press the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time to take a screen shot.

  20. RESTARTING – HARD REBOOT Press both buttons at the same time Press the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time and hold for TEN SECONDS.

  21. RESTORE FROM LAST BACKUP After connecting iPAD to your computer, iTunes will start. Click on the RESTORE button to return to the way the iPAD was at the previous backup to iTunes.
