  1. Crystal Collimation Fermilab INTRODUCTION TO THE CRYSTAL COLLIMATION WORKSHOP Nikolai Mokhov Fermilab Crystal Collimation Workshop Fermilab, Batavia, IL December 6-7, 2007

  2. PROPOSAL FOR EXPERIMENT AT TEVATRON Aiming at the high-performance collimation vital for the LHC, considering a unique possibility provided by the Tevatron collider (before its shutdown for collider physics in 2009-2010), and having already established fruitful collaborative efforts on crystal characterization, tests and use for collimation, We propose to form a collaboration to conduct a “Crystal Collimation Experiment at the Tevatron” in the time frame required by the LHC plans. Introduction - N.V. Mokhov

  3. The purpose of this meeting is to discuss • Current status and plans for crystal collimation beam studies at the Tevatron in 2008-2009. • What needs to be accomplished for successful measurements. • A draft of a Memorandum of Understanding between FNAL and experimenters, a research proposal to be submitted to the Fermilab management. • Recent progress in several related areas. Introduction - N.V. Mokhov
