  1. Friday, January 24th Bell Work: On your desk you should find your Bell Work sheet from yesterday. If you have not done so already, on the back of the paper, please create a large 5x5 grid (BINGO card). Label the middle space “Free” and number the rest of the boxes 1-24 in any order you would like. In addition, if you have any notes written on a test review sheet, please take them out. If you would like a review sheet, you may grab one from the front table. As soon as I get attendance entered, we will begin a BINGO vocab review.

Daily Agenda: • Bell Work: Vocab BINGO • WOD REVIEW • Unit 1 Test • Vocab Acquisition / Social Organization article and questions Essential Question: How did human life develop and become more complex between 8000 BCE and 600 BCE? Homework: Begin working on Unit 2 Flashcards and read and complete Social Organization packet

  4. Curtail – to cut short or reduce(Possible Answer) Have you ever? Friday, January 24th , Block 2 My insatiable appetite for pie makes me want to curtail its impact on my life. With all the calories, pie is a food that should be treated as a reward than just a regular enjoyment.

  6. Test Directions: Read each question carefully. Choose the BEST answer to the question. When prompted to write a response, make sure to use complete sentences and directly explain and support your answer with historical examples. Raise your hand if you have a question during the test. You must finish the test IN CLASS. Time extensions would simply unfair to the rest of the class. When you finish, bring your test to Mr. Naruta and pick up a copy of the two handouts on the front table.

When You Finish… • Turn your test in to Mr. Naruta directly and pick up a copy of the two handouts on the front table. • You may either: • Begin working on researching and creating your Vocabulary flashcards OR • Read the Social Organization article and complete the Guided Reading questions that accompany it.
