JORDAN VOGT- ROBERTS Biography Jordan Vogt-Roberts is an American film and television director hailing from the ashes of Detroit.  His most recent feature, KONG: SKULL ISLAND premiered to incredible box office numbers in March 2017. Starring Tom Hiddleston, Academy-Award winner Brie Larson, John C. Reilly and John Goodman, the film is set in the 1970’s and is a unique reimagining of the King Kong mythos based on Vogt-Roberts’ original pitch to the studio. Jordan Vogt-Roberts Director began his feature career with the film, THE KINGS OF SUMMER, which he directed.  The film premiered in competition at the 2013 Sundance Film Festival to critical acclaim.

He also directed Stephen Falk's pilot “You're the Worst,” which is now a hit original series on FX Networks entering its fourth season. He is currently attached to direct the video game adaption METAL GEAR SOLID for Sony pictures and uses his free time to help with a non-profit called the Detroit Creativity Project that offers improve free of charge in Detroit public schools.
