  2. First Step: • Incorporation • 3 types of Entities: • Sole Proprietorship • Partnership • Public or Pvt Ltd Company

  3. Sole Propreitership A business enterprise exclusively owned, managed and controlled by a single person with all authority, responsibility and risk.

  4. Partnership It is an extension of Sole Propreitership entity. At least 2 members are required to start a partnership businessand maximum of 20.

  5. Private Ltd Co. The companies in India are governed by the Indian Companies Act, 1956. The Act defines a company as an artificial person created by law, having a separate legal entity, with perpetual succession and a common seal.

  6. Requirements for Pvt Ltd Co. • Registered Business name • Registered Office • 2-50 Shareholders • Minimum Share Capital of Rs. 100,000/- • Memorandum of Association • Articles of Association • Certificate of Incorporation
