The Massachusetts Immunization Information System (MIIS): • Helps your healthcare provider keep track of which shots are due and when they should be given and keeps all your records together. • Prints shot records you can use for college, school, daycare or camp registration. • Helps prevent outbreaks of disease like measles and the flu in your community. • Keeps shot records safe during natural disasters such as flooding or hurricanes. A new system for tracking immunizations! Now available at this location! Providers are required by law to report your immunizations to the MIIS (M.G.L c. 111, Section 24M). All information in the MIIS is secure and confidential. Individuals have the right to object to the sharing of their immunization information in the MIIS.
