  7. The negative sign means that the tangent graph reflects or “flips” about the x-axis. The graph will look like this…

  8. Use B to calculate the period. Period is the distance between vertical asymptotes.Period= pie/B=pie/3

  9. C=pie/6 means that the graph has shifted pie/6 spaces to the right. This is also an x intercept.

  10. The period is pie/3; half the period is pie/6. Therefore, the distance between the x-intercept and the asymptotes on either side is pie/6
