  6. Need Involvement of all Stakeholders • Indian Military • Faster, superior solutions • Domestic Industry • Assured Business • Global Industry • 30% Offset • Academia • Interesting research & development • Startups • Exciting areas

Therefore Need to have a Shared Roadmap for Military Technology • Allows Industry to invest for long term • Allows Academia to have directed research • Allows Global players to form appropriate partnerships • Allows startups to propose and develop innovative solutions • Allows military to access solutions in a dependable, sustainable and ultimately cheaper manner

Possible Institutional Mechanism Ministry of Defence ICT Requirements Airforce Army Navy Critical Technologies DRDO Non-Critical Technologies Proposed Autonomous Entity Venture Capitalists Startups Incubation Centres Domestic Conglom-erates Foreign Collaborators Academia Industrial Research Entities Other Ministries
