  1. Leadership presentation

  2. Who am I? • Hello, my name is Keiwon Lambert. At this point in time, I’m nearing the end of my Senior Year at Fraser High School. Boy, has the time flew. It’s definitely been a rollercoaster, but I made it. I’m at the finish line. Through this presentation, I will present the following: • A future role in society where I see myself as a leader • My leadership involvement and qualities • My strengths and weaknesses as a leader in today’s society

  3. Masc/mahs leadership conference

  4. My leadership involvement • Who prepared me as a leader: • I can say that I have quite a few mentors that I’ve inquired through my four years of high school. My #1 mentor of course would be my mother: she’s been there to guide me since the very beginning. My next one would be Mr. Pasquale Pascaretti. I was able to find myself as a person and leader through the confidence and support I received from him and the performing arts department. I would also like to pay homage to my leadership advisors from the many clubs I amapart of: Mrs. Scopas, Mrs. Rumminger, Mrs Cable, Mrs. Tieman, Mr. Charland, Ms. Engardio, Ms. Witt, Mrs. Durkin, Mr. Stanley, Mrs. Kalpin, Ms. Tomovska, and Mr. Doud. I can’t even begin to express my deepest gratitude towards them. Without them, I wouldn’t be the person who I am at this very moment.

  5. My Leadership involvement (cont’d) • What prepared me as a leader: • My involvement in all the different leadership groups and clubs I was apart of, dating back to my Freshmen year, has definitely prepared and shaped me as the leader I am today. Those groups consist of the following: • Student Council, National Honor Society, National Technical Honor Society, Modern Music Masters Honor Society, Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America, SYNC, and the Fraser 4 A’s.

  8. My traits • There are quite a few traits that make a great leader. Although not every leader may possess all of them or all of the same traits, different ones live within each leader which makes it essential for all leaders to cooperate and work together. The traits that I believe I possess are: • Passion, Integrity, Responsibility, Kind-Heartedness, Organization, Communication Skills, Optimism, Confidence, and Decisiveness.

  9. future leadership roles • Those who know me, know that I am a person of many dreams and aspirations. My dream is to be a classical, opera, and musical theater performer. I aspire to be like Broadway actors and actress such as Sierra Boggessand RaminKarimloo. I would like to be a Broadway performer sometime in my life. • As far as leadership goes, I plan to lead and direct a chorus, which is why I made the decision to not only major in music in college, but to double major in Vocal Performance and Vocal Music Education. I will also be minoring in Leadership Studies.

  10. My broadway aspiration

  11. Making my dreams come true… • I think that in order to make my dreams come true, I need to pursue my degree in Vocal Music Education, as well as in Leadership Studies. I’m a person who likes to succeed; I hate quitting and giving up. That’s reassurance that I will make this happen. It’s going to take a lot of hard work, but I believe that I’m ready for it. I’ve had a lot of preparation for it here a Fraser High School.

  12. My strengths • I possess a lot of strengths, as far as music and leadership goes. I’ve been a music student at Fraser High School since my freshmen year of high school. I’ve also been a member of different leadership groups as well since my freshmen year. I’ve taken different music courses that gave me training and knowledge in the field that I’ll need in college as well as when I’m pursuing my dreams after college. I’ve also gained a lot of leadership skills and qualities here at Fraser. In fact, most of the leadership skills I currently have, I acquired them here at Fraser.

  13. My weaknesses • Although I possess man strengths and leadership qualities, I too have weaknesses. My biggest weakness consist of my communication skills. I believe that I communicate well. Sometimes how I communicate can be a little too authoritative, which could cause uproars, etc. I’ve been working on this for a while. I’ve gotten better with it though.

  14. Leaders and their weaknesses • I believe that every leader should be able to identify their own weaknesses. In order to become a better leader, I believe that you have to be able to know what you need to work on for yourself before you can help and lead others to become better people.

  15. The leader in me • I personally know that I possess the ability to become someone great in life. I already have such a great foundation, I just need to start building my own empire. I am grateful for all the positive impacts everyone’s had on me from Fraser High School. I could not be anymore proud of myself and all of the things I’ve accomplished with the help of all my wonderful mentors and fellow leaders.
