  3. Graded Unit 3: Refreshed Guidance • Revised Unit Specification • Allows remediation • Candidates must meet the minimum evidence requirements and, in doing so, achieve minimum marks for each stage • Minimum evidence requirements (success) • Marks (grade)

  4. Graded Unit 3: Refreshed Guidance • Remediation • Remediation can occur in three circumstances: • Candidate did not meet minimum evidence requirements • Candidate did not achieve minimum marks • Candidate did not meet minimum evidence requirements and minimum marks • Professional judgement

Graded Unit 3: Refreshed Guidance • Preventing Grade Boosting • Deficiencies in meeting the minimum evidence requirements and/or minimum marks, on first attempt, addressed through feedback (or re-assessment?) • Only the areas identified as deficient, on the first attempt, should be re-marked • Authenticity of evidence
