  5. Fall Semester • No class on 9/24, no class on 12/31. • Makeup class on 12/22 (Sat). • Midterm (50%) (11/5) • Final (50%) (1/7) • Cannot make it to the exam? Inform me on the day of the exam the latest. Otherwise, you get 0 for that exam.

  6. Your final grade is roughly determined by the average of the two exams. • Letter grades are relative as you will learn in this class only relative prices matter. • I do not stick to the conversion table. • I retain the right to make adjustment on your final grade. • No response to emails about grades at the semester end.

  8. Initiative • 1 bonus point per class meeting (up to 15 bonus points, not on logistics) • Sign up for an in-class presentation

  10. A group of 2 • Should read them, make a presentation of 10 minutes in class • 4 bonus points • Discuss with the TA beforehand • Figures, Tables, you could find more!!!
