Introduction • SSTP: Space Systems Technical Panel • PURPOSE: • To sustain and oversee the programs of the IEEE/AIAA • Aerospace Conference, ESTEL and MetroAerospace Conference; and create new conferences or partnerships. • To promote and support publications in the domain of Space Systems (i.e. Satellite Communications, Space Exploration and ISS, Space-based Navigation and Synthetic Aperture Radars, Launch infrastructure, Range Safety and Debris mitigation Propagation and communication experiments) on Q/V band channel of TDP#5 (Technology Demonstration Payload); • To promote educational activities in the domain of Space Systems; • To manage the nomination and selection of candidates for IEEE Awards in the domain of Space Systems; • To encourage the submission of nominations for IEEE Fellows and Senior Members in the domain of Space Systems; • To provide periodic revision of IEEE Standards pertaining to the domain of Space Systems

What is a reasonable goal for Space Access? EHF technologies Focus for 2015 identification of topics for articles and conference sessions. • Recent Activities • Meeting at AFCEA Event • Invitation to MetroAerospace • presenters to write articles • for Systems Magazine and Qeb

  4. Next Steps • New members from Aerospace, MetroAerospace and ESTEL and emerging space countries (South Africa, Brazil) added to Panel. • New members invited to write for Systems Magazine • Aerospace Conference • – Space Missions Track
