  2. Purpose • This item is for approval of illegal waste tire piles for Board managed cleanup when the property owner is unwilling or unable to remediate the site themselves Board Agenda Item 7

  3. Procedure • Tire enforcement refers • Site cleaned up with short-term tire remediation contract • To date 60 waste tire sites remediated Board Agenda Item 7

  4. Proposed Waste Tire Sites • Garcia – Los Angeles County, 3,000 tires, estimated cost $6,750 • Gyle Road – Tehama County, 1,000 tires, estimated cost $2,250 • Redman Investment - Kern County, 8,000 tires, estimated cost $18,000 Board Agenda Item 7

  5. Funding • Current available funds-$1,234,636 • Funding required for Item - $27,000 • Remaining funds - $1,207,636 • Remaining funds are sufficient to remediate all remaining Sonoma waste tire sites Board Agenda Item 7
