Using duct tapes make fancy flowers, striking book covers, and even cool beach bags. Here’s a peep into how you can do it. A beautiful beach bag for that beautiful bod Beaches are fun, relaxing, and a time to display individual taste. Just as you went all out to get that trendy swimsuit in order to attract the eyeballs, why not create a cool and colorful duct tape beach bag to complete the look? A beach bag is also convenient to tote wet towels and suits home after a day of fun and frolic in the sun. How to make a beach bag First, cut off the handles and keep the side panels of your bag flat down. Next, wrap up the inside and outside of the bag with a design duct tape of your choice. To avoid any gaps, you should overlay the tape slightly. To dress up the bag with piping for each edge and panel cut pieces of clothesline or use round shoelaces. Be sure to cut the duct tape a little longer than each piece of the clothesline. Then press the clothesline to one long edge of the duct tape and roll evenly until ½” remain. Secure this edge to what will be the inside panel of your bag. Then start bringing together your bag by taping together the inside panels of the bag making sure the piping is tight together before you secure with tape. For the handles cut two pieces of duct tape according to how long you want your bag to be, adding 6″. Starting at the center, fold the tape

Evenly attach the handles on the inside of your bag and secure with another piece of duct tape at the top edge of the bag. Outdoors and need shelter in a jiffy? This one does not call for too much craft but is a shrewd (read crafty) idea, nevertheless, for setting up a shelter very fast. If you have a tarp, let your travel pocket duct tape work its way towards making a shelter for you. First, perforate the tarp by piercing the plastic with a multi-tool or a sharp stick. Then, reinforce the hole on both sides with a duct tape. Make guylines with the duct tape and string them through the perforations. Use trees, branches, rocks, and logs as anchor points. Now that you know how something good can come out of duct tapes, explore more ways to get crafty with them.
