  3. MHT Referrers: • Student self refers (emerging/ existing mental health issues) • Disability Team or SCC • University staff member • Security/ Accommodation • Crisis/ Emergency

  4. MHT Referral Criteria: • Emerging mental health needs • Clear diagnosis of Mental Health Condition • Moderate to Severe and Enduring remit • Crisis response

  5. How to refer: • Gain consent from the student (if appropriate) • Email the MHT: including as many details of the student as possible, ID number, contact info and reason for referral • Request a meeting with the MHA if you need to discuss the student/ referral more in depth • Call on ext 37458 and discuss a potential referral

  6. What support is on offer? • 1:1 support • One off intervention or signposting • Mental Health Support Plan - support package which can include accessing UoL and external support services • Crisis Support Plan (CSP) providing students with a crisis prevention action plan including a clear pathway of support during times of relapse /crisis • Advocacy between student and UoL and vice versa • Emergency/ Crisis intervention
