  1. Midpoint Check-In Meeting Purpose of the Midpoint Check-In Meeting To formally review progress of the Rapid Action Team with your Team Leader and to make any necessary mid-course corrections to ensure team success. Time Required: Your Team Leader will schedule a 30-minute meeting with you anytime after the team’s forth meeting. Agenda: • Ask your Team Leader to provide an overall assessment of the team’s progress in completing its team mission. • Is the team on target, ahead or behind schedule on completing its mission? • How is overall team morale? Are Team Members skipping meetings? Are assignments being completed on time? • Review the list of Actions-In-Process for the team from page 2 of the Sponsor Manager Update form. • Ask the Team Leader for a brief explanation of each action idea, the reason for taking action, current status and any results achieved or anticipated. • Review any support needed from you to remove any roadblocks or help implement the actions underway. • Provide a firm decision on all outstanding support requests. • Problem-solve any morale, motivation or general problems the team is experiencing. • Address any issues (like attendance, not completing work assignments, overall focus, etc.) and offer to attend the first 15 minutes of the team’s next Weekly Action Meeting to offer support and encouragement. • Summarize the actions that both you and the Team Leader will take to support the team as a result of the Midpoint Check-In Meeting. • Review the remaining team schedule, confirm the recognition plan and confirm the dates for the Report & Recognition Meeting and Prep Session.

  2. Time Out! Please take a minute now to check-off the requirements for completing your Midpoint Check-in Meeting: • Sponsor Manager brought up to speed on any issues affecting the team (i.e., individuals missing meetings or not completing assignments on time, scheduling difficulties, work priorities, etc.). • All actions in process reviewed with Sponsor Manager – each action is explained along with the reason for taking action, current status and results achieved or anticipated. • The plan for completing all actions is reviewed along with any support requested to remove barriers or accelerate implementation. • The remaining team schedule is reviewed and finalized. • A date for the Report & Recognition Prep Session with the Sponsor Manager is scheduled. • The recognition plan is confirmed.
