  3. Consultations • L-Band • IC is waiting for results of compatibility testing by AMT and incumbents • 28 GHz • Comment period closed 28 July 2010 • Analyzing comments received • Next steps: IC decision, SRSP • 70, 80 and 90 GHz bands • IC consultation pending soon

  4. Other projects in the works • Review of the technical rules for the 12.7 GHz VHCM band (SRSP 312.7) • Review of the technical rules for the 2.3 GHz WCS band (SRSP 302.3) • Guidelines on common technical issues for point-to-point microwave systems • Clarifications on: ATPC, adaptive modulation, etc. • We are also closely following the FCC backhaul consultation and potential implications for Canada (e.g. convergence with BAS, relaxed capacity limits in rural areas, relaxed antenna masks, adaptive modulation) • In many areas IC is ahead of the FCC
